Silent Night

Allegedly the story here is that a father, stricken with grief and suddenly without vocal chords, seeks revenge for his son’s death via gang violence. But I can’t confirm or deny that because there was no dialogue and the ‘action sequences’ were laughable at best. Action, camera work, and acting were all so sloppy.

If you’re looking for something that checks certain boxes, (ie. main character never speaks, lots of action, odd cinematography choices, virtually no plot)… then just watch Hardcore Henry. It’s stupid, but it’s better than whatever John Woo was trying to do here.

Death Comes to Pemberley

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that an author lacking sound judgement must be in want of reader rage. Come acquaint yourself with characters who barely resemble their respective namesakes as they fret over a ball cancellation due to the most inconvenient grievance: murder. The only thing worse than the outlandish explanation that comes after the investigation concludes, is the last pitch to left field that implies all Austen novels are canon to one another.
